I get why journalists are reticent to try to port a following to a new platform—I was, and I still post my work everywhere—but if your career is predicated on people clicking your links and engaging with your work, this site is the only one not actively working against that.

not being able to talk about or link to my substack newsletter without getting shadowbanned was, as a writer, one of the worst changes on that old site
It is so incredibly nice to have a social platform that values links again - a breath of fresh air in the poisoned ecosystem of the creator economy
