Come work with us at the ANU on the role of resolution in setting the mean state and variability. This is a great opportunity to be part of the @21stcenturyweather.bsky.social
We are recruiting for a Research Fellow based at The Australian National University!

Undertaking research to investigate small scale atmospheric and oceanic processes and their role in setting the mean state.

Applications close on Sunday 20 April.

Our new paper is out in Journal of Climate led by Dillon Amaya!

We show that future changes in seasonal climate predictability are tightly linked to projected changes in ENSO amplitude. The stronger the ENSO, the more predictable the climate becomes.

Had a productive and super interesting week at the @ipcc.bsky.social AR7 Scoping Meeting.

I am humbled to be able to represent Australian Science, @21stcenturyweather.bsky.social, CLEX, the ANU, and most importantly to contribute to this important process along with @climatenerilie.bsky.social.

The latest CLEX briefing note co-authored by CCRC scientists:

Is the Climate Changing Faster than Expected?

The evidence is clear: the impacts of global warming are increasing, and to reduce them, we require a deep and rapid cut in greenhouse gas emissions.

working on the dynamics of the atmosphere?
because you know exactly what goes where?
or precisely because you don’t?
whatever.
submit to our session,
be part of the progression!
come to Cairns or be sorry if you won’t,
forever.
