Seems to be to do with the speed with which the commands are processed. Don't be too quick with your copy and paste. I mostly use a Logitech G Hub mouse with buttons programmed for the copy and paste and I think it only does the closing thing if I do it manually or am too quick with the buttons.

I had some editors placing work for early in the new year, but thankfully, no rush jobs over the holidays.

Which is no problem at all if you use professional indexers' software. A couple of clicks and any easy reflow like this is dealt with. It's a bit harder if they just move a few things around and you have to check. I'd have left the extra pages in as blank or put some pictures instead.

The only advantage for video is that you can produce a quick tutorial faster than creating written documentation. We still have never produced something better for finding the info you need than a decent index in the back of a book.

The subject of the book is called the metatopic. Whether or not to make some entries for it depends on a bunch of things. Sometimes it is helpful to put one in. Sometimes it isn't.

I play in a brass band which does a concert with a primary school choir. They get so excited at the rehearsal and on the night itself. No vomiting this year so winners all round.

Yes I did shout at him and used lots of unladylike language. He did apologise and said he was trying to avoid hitting another person on the pavement.

I probably get a similar satisfaction in readings footnotes like that. One of my first joys in a new book is to explore the index and the end note pages.
