Conventional hyperscanning metrics capture synchrony but miss network reconfiguration, limiting mechanistic insight. Our approach opens that door.

Meet the committee here: www.philandneuro.com/steering-com...

This year at @ispsm.bsky.social, all three of us will be presenting!

I’m in the same block as David talking about hyperscanning, and Danielle will be closing a symposium on realism in neuro.

A great preview of what is to come!

By embedding inter-brain networks in a geometric manifold, co-regulation is pinpointed at a granularity which IBS metrics smooth away.

Scaling from infant-caregiver to therapeutic alliance in interpersonal-psychiatry, we turn the dyad into the most meaningful unit of analysis.

We treat affect as the expected free energy of self-relevant prediction errors, with a temporal aim that tiles past and future into a unified generative model.

Rupture --> repair --> reattunement appear as phase transitions and the FRc entropy acts as a surprisal gauge of them.
