Another tree decorating idea from a friend:

If your room isn't too hot, hang little packets of seeds on the tree for gardening-loving family and friends to find. There are some gorgeously designed seed packets by small brands available online. I've posted some pics.

Wonderful Arcadian Books and Prints in the quarter, the very first New Orleans bookshop I visited years ago. It's literally stacks of books, not arranged according to size or sturdiness so there's real danger to your browsing. I'm usually scared to remove anything In case I set off a domino effect
