Aw man that sucks :( I definitely know the feeling, some of my players ordered their books after we started our campaign and still received them before I got my BackerKit pledge!

Many important lessons learned either way! Would be nice to get the crew together again for something, but scheduling always seems to have it out for us.

I was a younger and much more foolhardy DM back then. I knew not the things I did, nor the severity of their impact on the group.

When the players understand the rules and the stakes and they talk about how they should engage, what will happen if they don't, what they're willing to give up to stop this person...that's the game, folks. That is TTRPG magic and it is what sits me in the Director's chair week after week. 5/5
