And yeah Mary, there's a lot not to like about this budget, but the upshot is that $82B on military + fiscal-restraint *optics* while ballooning the decifit (something I've never cared about) reads like we are preparing for war — which I'm for.

I take issue with the headline's "led by Canada" when the US isn't actually reporting its cases.
