Words cannot describe how much this gaming achievement hurt me. 7 years in the making, and an unconscionable amount of hours spent practicing.

He says in this interview it deeply affected his outlook on life, that he almost killed himself while having to isolate during COVID, and then decided that this was all part of his new purpose in life. Like it couldn't be more obvious they put him on this path. www.sundial-cu.org/p/he-outsmar...

Obviously this dude's outlook on learning and life in general is pretty lame. But it's really no mystery to me why he has so little respect for education and the people who work in it after having a Harvard offer rescinded for sneaking out during a field trip. Like c'mon. nymag.com/intelligence...

The people trying to be the “moderate” in the room on Elon and DOGE vastly underestimate the extent to which people
who default to “Elon good” are persuaded by constant evidence that he is not in fact good. You are not dealing with serious, rational people — not anymore at least.

Got some old pokemon cards graded to see how that process goes. (Hint: It's long, expensive and cumbersome.) But quite pleased with some of the results back on cards I've had since I was like 12 years old, and a couple newer ones in the mix.

Democrats got too squeamish to keep calling Republicans "weird" last year. It is just abundantly clear that outside of AOC, they don't possess the ruthless cruelty these ppl deserve in this type of online engagement. So I would suggest they stop trying to engage if this is how it's going to go.

The Silicon Valley types' reaction to naming anonymous peole in power ultimately derives from a fundamental misunderstanding of how journalism works. They think it's tribal, and naming someone is an attack on an enemy group. It's not. It's principles-based, but they're incapable of seeing that.

Prepare to see more of this. That because the people involved with Elon are unelected or young or are not already public figures that that means they get to remain anonymous and that somehow by naming them it’s an incitement to violence. That’s not how journalism works, sorry.

I always wondered why the tech workers in that show Devs kept working on a thing they knew would ultimately wreck their lives and destroy the fabric of space time and then I remember that a bunch of people in SF believe society is about to collapse and only some of them are resigning.
