Ha, I was such a Bowie nut the price didn’t even factor in for me! Looking back it seems exceptional value… Trying to remember what I paid to see him on the Glass Spider tour. Maybe £12?

The concert ended with Moonage Daydream. Bowie broke out his old “Space Hopper” mime and Ziggy was resurrected in front of us. I remember him grinning as he did this; he was clearly having fun.

I remember the shadow he cast on the wall, which seemed to distil the very essence of Bowie. I was convinced it was going to break free, like Peter Pan’s.

It's exceptionally good. I treated myself to a story a day and every one's a gem. Such a beautiful package of a book, too.

Yeah, I think that was a later variant - a solid ice figure, no jelly or ice cream. I preferred it in classic black, which always felt wonderfully decadent!

The taste of ‘70s summers for me - before they suddenly vanished from Britain (bit of an overreach by Van Helsing there…). I remember the lolly sticks had stencils to create various ghoulish faces.
