I’m an unashamed MAMIL with 4 bikes I ride regularly on roads, gravel tracks and MTB trails. For me the biggest safety issue is the shocking state of the road network. Rough road surfaces due to repeated patching, potholes and loose material is the norm on our roads and is getting worse over time.

Likewise. At the start of this year I deleted my X, Instagram and Facebook accounts (and opened a Bluesky account). I feel much better for it! But I also completely understand why others maintain a presence on those platforms.

I suspect I’m the human equivalent when I’m in my Lycra cycling kit and go cycling. And, based on your photo, we may look undignified but we’re really not bothered! 😂

If an away team don’t think their own fans can behave when travelling to someone else’s stadium they should return their ticket allocation.

I’ve gone with the IKEA Kallax unit at £35. I was looking online and seeing stuff for £100+ to several hundred. The Kallax unit is perfectly sized to store vinyl LPs and one unit looks like it would fit a couple of hundred LPs.

Absolutely! To think you can rock up to an away Ashes series without a great deal of match practice and Bazball to victory is almost amateurish. Ironically, it’s a bit like watching Spurs playing Ange-ball under Postecoglou last season.

Don’t be too harsh on the FIFA president Infantino. So far he’s overseen World Cup Finals in Russia and Qatar, so the US was the obvious next destination. 2034 it’s off to Saudi Arabia. Based on that rogues gallery, I’m guessing he’ll be proposing North Korea as a future host.
