For the fur i used lasso tool, made very quick messy random scratches, and used a transparent gradient coming from the light source, then underneath i did the same but for shading

I was trying to give him a sort of manga feel, but i didn't really want to use my crosshatch and halftone cuz it would take long and i still have to adjust em, so i kinda just applied the scribbles on top of the shading layer

They had a birthday on the same day, and i learned a very quick technique to render fur because of it
