He so doesn't fit in when he goes into the bar off the train, sets the tone for the film. Odd man out, makes his non accent work. Rosemarie Dunham, who played the landlady, said they were all learning the Geordie accent, but were told to drop it as the Amercans wouldn't be able to understand it.
