But researchers did find that adults w/ neck pain showed more forward head than teens & older adults. This only showed a correlation, not causation.

The researchers also admitted that pain researchers and clinicians generally “have not been doing very well at instilling deep learning” to patients, which includes delivery and improving content. “If we can do better, better clinical outcomes should follow,” they wrote.

Mayor Kyoko Matsumoto Wright reminded that many people forget that DEIA includes seniors and people with disabilities.

“If we’re asked to scrub [DEIA]…it’s also asking people not to fund seniors and people with disabilities,” she said.

CM Laura Sonmore asked whether the cost would go back down if the federal grants return.

“If federal grants come back, if the lawsuit is successful...the option packages would go away. They wouldn’t need this additional funding in order to carry out the same duties,” City Manager Jeff Niten said.
