Only played a handful of new games over the festive period but I really enjoyed both Tea Witches and Emberleaf. Very different games, both with nice mechanics, aesthetics and table presence. Recommended. #boardgames

What a busy week it’s been but a fulfilling one. Had some great meetings today but just a few more days before I sign off for the holidays. Looking forward to a well-earned rest.

Predator Badlands was a blast. Loved the world building, great action and dark humour. Ella Fanning is incredible. Different vibe to other films in the franchise but that’s a compliment in this case. #movies

I’m into the next ep of Dispatch (after the prologue) and I am loving it. Great story, meaningful choices. So immersive, I am really enjoying levelling up my team of Z-lister ex-villains. #gaming #PS5 #dispatch

Watched Tron: Ares. Enjoyed Tron: Ares. Great soundtrack (tho not as good as Daft Punk), the Grid looked awesome and Greta Lee was ace. I could watch her in anything, she’s tremendous. I seem to remember people hating on Tron: Legacy too (which is also overly maligned imo).

So, the four day extended weekend to celebrate my bday has almost come to an end but it’s been awesome. Dinner and a show, Farcry VR and some lovely gifts from my amazing wife Stef. Feeling very grateful, very lucky.

Watched in completely the wrong order but ‘Wrath of Becky’ was a very entertaining, gory and oddly satisfying movie for a rainy afternoon. Apparently there it’s a trilogy.
