Yes!

Can you believe it? I didnt change anything since yesterday evening. But because you put so much effort in this topic I wanted to try it again and now it just works.

Could it be that Steam caches these kind of things? 🤔

Thank you so much for your time and help 🥺 Means a lot

Yes it returns the default value 0 I configured in the Steam backend

Yeah I know. That was one thing I struggled with first, but it was quiet easy to debug 😄 Thanks anyway.

Unfortunately the setStatInt() doesn't provided any error message. Only returns false.

But the other stats are working just fine although they're all configured equally 😫

You got a really good point there. Didn't think about that 🙈

Don't know if it's possible to encrypt those but I don't want to implement such a complex topic like encryption just because of some silly achievements 😄

Thanks to @axeghostgame.bsky.social I will try out another idea instead: Using multiple Steam stats (counter).

Thank you so much for checking!

I think it's a doable way but if I understand correctly, it would be possible to tweak those numbers by users. For example: I save those counts in a save game file, people could easily open it.

Thanks for your response!
I'm already using GodotSteam, it's awesome 💪

I need a lot of stats then, in order to differentiate the anomalies I want to count 🤔 Because if I save these information in the save file (and only count +1 on steam), users could manipulate these things, I guess.

This is evil genius.

Congratz! May I ask how the playtest works? I think it's a Steam feature, right? So if you activate this you will get some URL where players can request access?
