A strong bitterly cold wind swooped in from the North Sea last night. I wasn't expecting it. Initially woken by sleet then periodically by wind gusts it was a disturbed night with weird dreams in a cold house. Interesting when I look out the roads/pavements now they are dry. It is a drying wind.

The latest doll renovation is a 1977/78 Palitoy Action Man with eagle eyes, flocked hair & gripping hands. Poor chap, he has a crack in his left forearm and missing half of his left index finger. The doll is wearing a fairly standard Action Man outfit.

Another nice recent £1.50 charity shop find was this Travel Extra Fly Barbie doll with Desert fashion. Although the doll only dates from 2023 these are already becoming collectable. She has original boots, jackets, top, shorts, waistband & earrings. Missing an oversized bag.

The latest Sindy doll is an ash blonde from the 1970s. She is wearing a 1960s white polo-neck jumper, 1970s brown trousers & boots. The blue and white coat is called 'About Town' dates from 1976. There were a few stains on arms/legs and she has a slightly shrunken head, hence wearing polo-neck. 😆
