I know what you mean.

More seriously I think you can turn off speaking a notification in the individual notification settings in the watch. I don’t see a way to turn it off all at once.

Is your laptop on an arm or a stand? Hard to tell from the photo. Love the purple lighting. And I am sucker for mixers and control panels in general for some reason.

I like a good cheesesteak but few things can beat a good pork sandwich.

I pointlessly waste brain cycles trying to figure out if the bad code I am editing was written with an LLM or not. Sigh.

There is a light rail 5 minutes walk from my house that connects up to the main transit system of the city but outside of servicing rush hour(which is also directional) it typically only comes every 20 minutes or so. Which is fine when going out but sucks when coming home.

Yeah, I am willing to take a bit longer to take public transit because I can read or do other things I cannot while driving but yeah too often it is multiples of the time and that is too much.

Not really big on rustic pottery for the most part lol. I do have a few plants though.

I heartily reject the idea that one can have “too many” books though.

It is interesting, the older b&n near me as it separated but the new one they built is combined. I guess it must be up to local store management or something.

My understanding is the science at least supports it as a pain management tool(though casts doubt on some of traditional explanations and things for why it works). Wouldn’t totally shock me if some people had results beyond pain management either. It’s way less woo woo than Chiropractors.

MUDs and their various related things were awesome. Did lots of that as a teenager. Even after EverQuest came out and everyone seemed to be playing MMOs.

Yeah, I thought this was generally understood as the trade with Gmail from the start. I think it was spoken about a lot more when Gmail first came out and people have just sort of not talked about it since.

Also turkey skin is emphatically inferior to chicken skin which is a big strike against turkey in my book.

I am very sorry to hear that.
