Tristan Broz notched three points (1G-2A) in the team's two playoff games. Ville Koivunen tallied an assist on both of the Pens' goals tonight.

#WBSPens beat the Monsters tonight, 3-0. They wrap their 2024-25 season at 40-24-7-1, fourth place in the Atlantic Division.

They will play Lehigh Valley in the best-of-three opening round, starting at home next Wednesday, Apr. 23.

• If WBS wins in regulation and Providence loses in regulation, the Penguins will be the 3 seed and play Springfield in R1.

Okay, I will. A regulation win by WBS would guarantee they finish no lower than 3rd going into the playoffs. A loss would just about dash any hopes of a bye (pending other results).

#WBSPens took down the Bridgeport Islanders today, 5-2, improving to 39-22-7-1 on the year and sliding up to 3rd place in the Atlantic.
Three rookies lit the lamp today, including this beauty by Atley Calvert. Sergei Murashov made 30 saves, bringing his record to 12-3-0.

A beautiful arena, but a house of pain for the #WBSPens in recent seasons.
The Penguins are looking for their first win in Laval since 2018, and they'll have Jesse Puljujärvi in their arsenal to try and do it.

We're back at CAA Arena for a rematch between the #WBSPens and B-Sens!
WBS won 6-1 on Friday, but things got rather chippy by the midway point of the contest. We'll see how much of that carries over to this afternoon when we drop the puck at 3:00 p.m.

#WBSPens defeat Belleville tonight, 6-1, as the team improves to 20-8-3-0. Their eight-game point streak is the team's longest since 2019-20.
Goals courtesy of Hayes, Poulin (x2), Puustinen, Katchouk and Imama. McGroarty with a career-high 3 assists. Blomqvist logs 39 saves on his 23rd birthday.

Ville Koivunen notched a hat trick as the #WBSPens defeated Toronto, 6-3. That's the fourth hat trick this season for WBS, all in the last 13 games.
Filip Král scored twice against his old club, and Emil Bemström gathered his team-leading 13th goal of the season. Pens' point streak now at seven.

It came down to the final seconds, but the #WBSPens defeat the Hershey Bears, 1-0.
Filip Larsson records his third shutout of the season with 33 saves.
Tristan Broz scored the game's only goal, his 10th of the year. WBS heads into the holiday break 16-8-1-0.

#WBSPens have one more game before the holiday break, and it's against the Atlantic-leading Hershey Bears.
Hershey will be likely be playing sour after having seven goals hung on them yesterday by Toronto. Meanwhile, WBS is coming off of a seven-goal (and 74 penalty-minute) outing last night, too.

Wild one in NEPA tonight, as the #WBSPens rout Lehigh Valley, 7-2.
A new season-high for goals by the Penguins, who received tallies from seven different players. However, the Pens and Phantoms combined for 132 penalty minutes, 110 in the third period.

#WBSPens pull off a wild one tonight. WBS potted five in the third period to rally past Charlotte, 6-4.
Boris Katchouk went beast mode with a FOUR-GOAL GAME, including a penalty-shot goal and a 190-foot empty netter to seal it.
Joel Blomqvist made 38 saves as the team improves to 13-6-1-0.

A hat trick by Vasily Ponomarev and a dominant special teams performance propelled the #WBSPens past Hartford, 6-2.
WBS went 3/6 on the power play and picked up a pair of shorthanded goals (both by Ponomarev). Three-point nights from Valtteri Puustinen (2G-1A) and Filip Král (3A). Pens are 12-5-1-0.

Rutger McGroarty tallied the winner with 1:15 left, set up by Tristan Broz's third assist of the game. Filip Král posted a career-best four points (2G-2A).

Down 3-1 and hemmed in for most of the game, #WBSPens emphatically rally for a 5-3 win over Laval.
WBS scored three power play goals, then pulled away in the third. Penguins now 10-4-1-0.
Two-point games for Bemström (2A), Hollowell (2A), Koivunen (1G-1A), Koppanen (1G-1A) and Poulin (1G-1A).

#WBSPens have only played once in the last 12 days, but now have two big tests on the docket this weekend.
First, it's the North Division-leading Laval Rocket tonight, followed by the Atlantic Division leaders and back-to-back Calder Cup Champs, the Hershey Bears, on Saturday.
