R.I.P. Udo Kier, who was a working actor from the 1960s until the present day. I knew him from movies like FLESH FOR FRANKENSTEIN and his work with Lars Von Trier, but I've seen him the most as Dr. Frank Mandel in an uncredited appearance in Dario Argento's SUSPIRIA. A true legend.

Tonight I watched Jacques Tourneur's NIGHT OF THE DEMON (1957), based on M.R. James's classic story "Casting the Runes." I hadn't seen it in years. Previously, I'd only seen the shorter CURSE OF THE DEMON cut. (1/2)

The hotel we're staying at is bigger than a city block, has four different restaurants, and features a swimming pool roughly the size of the Empire State Building! Orlando is crazy!

So bummed to be missing the Indie Horror Book Fair in Ridgewood today, but I console myself with the fact that the weather here in Orlando is amazing. I hope everyone sells lots of books, and I look forward to attending next year!
