Going to try and be more accountable by weekly posting here. Mondays are my personal scrum days, and really how much worse can one more line item be (😅)

Hail to the king, baby!

Duke 3D turns 30 today, hard to believe we're the same age! Duke (along side dark forces) made up my earliest FPS memories. I'll never forget sitting next to my dad while we shotgunned pigcops over and over on the crustiest Win98 desktop we had.

Its been a week but WOW what the fuck was that?
In weird times, I listen to slower music to try and help me be more mindful, with down-tempo electronic typically fueling my creativity.

hope its a better lap around the sun for everyone - it cant get any worse, right? 😬

an old manager i had once reminded me to not spin my tires, but i feel that even if i have to bash my head against a wall 100 times, its all worth it if there's a breakthrough

Hey this is a reminder to cleanup your project imports and fix that one thing that you said you'd do (which you didn't cause you know it's gonna take two seconds).

Every time I get motivated enough to post something, I find flaw after flaw after flaw, and I hold back on sharing what I've done. I feel closer with every commit, every patch, and yet my hesitance holds me back

This week I am working on a cleaned up pause menu and putting together a reveal. I have no idea how to properly announce a project and since you can only announce something once, I'm a bit flustered.

The game has been coming along, and yet I struggle to post anything about it. I feel like its hard to share work when its not done, you know?
Unrelated: this week I'll be working on some cleanup for a very early version of the game,with a very, very special announcement to (hopefully) come soon.

To kick off the weekly posts, Alan Parsons Project's "I Robot" was the album I was listening to when I decided to try my hand at making a game.
It's been taking a long time, but I've definitely been able to look back and really see change.

Mocap recording session cancelled due to bad weather (road conditions are ass). I wouldn’t be mad but it’s the 3rd time in a row it’s been cancelled.
If anyone wants a snowstorm on a specific day let me know and I’ll book another session for it
