As a general rule then, you would look down and off to the side. Kind of like when someone has their high beams on…but not as bright.

Today’s headlights are brighter, but by design. Drive a 1984 Chevrolet Caviller and you would be asking where the double lines were on any road at night.

No, I brought it up in response to the post and you decided to hammer down. I simply and factually included that part. Sorry for engaging on…social media.

You are right and I am wrong. I will live.

None of which I stated. 🙄

Yet in the end, it’s still safer. Please refer to the article I posted.

This isn’t a debate l, it’s fact. I’m sympathetic to why it’s annoying - just that…brighter headlights saves lives.

(feel free to vent back l, but know I’m hanging my hat for the night).

Correct. And ergo again gets to: what’s the problem? If majority are driving larger vehicles, not an issue.

Mixed sizes - you can adjust your mirror. Or, visually change your view.

No matter what circumstance, brighter lights have resulted in less harm.

Again, annoying but a positive.

I’m not trying to fight you. If you want to be angry about facts that’s your purview. Im not suggesting it’s not annoying…

That said: I truly hope your eyes are on the road as much as possible! And when all else fails, you can:

I understand but vehicles come in all shapes and sizes.

There is literally no one size fits all.

For instance: If you are driving a sedan, the glare from truck headlights are going to impact you more significantly than another sedan. Simply because of positioning.

Your car is equipped with a mirror that can be adjusted to ensure you are not blinded.

🤷‍♀️

Daughter of a retired career auto body repairman: thank you new headlights!! ( 😁 )

Yes annoying….but lifesaving.

Insurance companies LOVE mediocre policies though. They make hand over fist on preventative care while limiting any specialized procedures/therapies.

They want people to be healthy but not too healthy that they cut into their bottom line….

Im closer to the other side: we don’t do it at all except big occasions. Listen, we’re tired.

Yep.

And someday someone will pay.

I hope it’s Trump. But I also hope it’s every single person who carried out his illegal orders.

Btw, I fully expect this kid to write a gripping dystopian, feminist thriller.
November 25, 2025 at 5:12 AM
Correct. My daughter dreams of writing stories. But, she fully understands that she will also do pretty good as copywriter with her eventual (crosses fingers) English/journalism degree…or even as a professor (insert next best thing).

To get a book written and published…hoo boy…that is a thing.
