Inbox: DC Power and forward Margie Detrizio have mutually agreed to part ways, with Detrizio becoming a free agent. Detrizio, who played for the Washington Spirit as an injury replacement player back in 2023, logged 10 appearances with DC Power during the fall portion of the season.

I can’t tell you how happy I get on those rare instances where there is a *2nd person* at DC Power pressers other than myself. Too many times I’ve been the lone reporter at matches and doing it on my own time/dime. We absolutely need more media investment in the women’s sports space.
Cori Close is right to be disappointed in the lack of media coverage yesterday.
Everyone watches women’s sports, but no one wants to pay a beat writer to cover them.

Cold, Tuesday nights are not ideal for outdoor pro sports but thank you to everybody that came out and got to witness a tight game against the table leaders. We are truly grassroots with #DCPowerFC and positive support doesn’t go unnoticed. Jaylen Nowell is a new fan! #USLSuperLeague
