Only 8% of San Franciscans work in Santa Clara County -- let alone work with the walkshed of a Caltrain Station.

Hard to think of a better family movie than this 1980 best picture winner that Robert Redford directed (debut, too, iirc)

So long as there isn't a capacity problem west of Hayes & Harlington, the Redding Line should be transferring at Hayes & Harlington to get to Heathrow.

P.S.: Per onthemap.census.gov, KCC's census tract isn't even in the top 100 destinations for a Kings County, NY origin.

But autonomous metro trains are great!

I live in Newton. I was at the Boston Common yesterday. We did not get 1M people or remotely close to that. More like 100K. I question the reporter’s orthogonal veracity on 1M people.

Now there were several hundred at Newton Center town center.

Am I missing something?

Right. 2022 is different, but it's the data we have to work with.

This one also has rail by station: chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.railpassengers.org/site/assets/files/3453/5a.pdf

Here we go: "remedial" math at Harvard = Math MA5 (An In-Depth Introduction to Functions and Calculus I).

It's only remedial by Harvard standards (one of five US schools where potential Fields Medalists cluster; you can probably name the others).

UC Parnassus is also a really significant destination: its census tract is a top 25 employer in the SF/Oakland/Fremont Area (12,250 jobs) and a top 10 employer in San Francisco proper.

I think SFMTA wants Geary to go to 19th as the data shows the 28/28R are also really crowded (and Stonestown/SF State University is a fairly significant destination within SF):

Amtrak has most of the market share from DC to NYC.

[Fwiw, on the Northeast Corridor, PHL to NYP -- not WAS to NYP (which is #2) -- is the number one origin/destination pair based on ridership.]

Republicans (and Joe Manchin for that matter) felt Neera Tanden couldn't be OMB Director because of her "mean tweets."

Double standard? ... I'd say so. ...

MBTA, please don't do this mid effort on the Red, Orange, and Blue Lines, and think it's worth all the financial costs and disruption.

Get real platform screen doors (see below) so people don't throw their trash on the tracks causing fires, and which are necessary for automated trains.
