(She/They/He) I make games, art, and post dumb opinions.
This feels like it should be more appropriate to you

The villain is "great" as a flat punchable generic bad guy but I think they're a bit of a cardboard cut out
The plot I find boring and for all that I have tried to pay attention the narative fails to grab me every time
This is probably one of my hottest gaming takes and At least multiplayer is fun

I can't stand Borderlands 2
As a First Person Shooter it fails to hit the mark for me because I find the guns feel weak and the enemies feel too spongy (bc of the RPG elements)
As an RPG, it doesn't give me enough choice, and I don't feel like I'm "playing a role"
I find the comedy pretty obnoxious

The only way I can watch these films and make them tolerable is if I pretend that the autobots are just as bad, if not worse, than the deceptions.

Watching these as if they are Warhammer 40k for transformers, I think, spins the ultra nationalism and military glazing as pitch black satire

Claire to Emile probably.

I know it wont make sense to anyone else probably but i read this in the same tone that Grian does to Scar in the Life Series

Well being that I have been near enough watching it on loop for the last week and laughing at the same parts every time, clearly you did something right to scrich the folds of my brain

Every transition timeline I've ever seen is the same. The most depressed man I've seen in my life, the most gorgeous transcendent and beautiful woman

He wants to pilot, wants to be admired for piloting, wants to lead AEUG, but doesn't want to take the responsibility of that leadership

They miss the vital part that the white base the way it was formed out of nessecity. Bright was barely an adult at the time, and the crew (including orphans) were former civvies.
Quattro is trying to relive the one year war glory days but is trying to reframe the narrative, putting himself as Amuro

Something I remember being discussed on the Mobile Suit Breakdown that i think about alot is that like Quattro is trying his best to recreate the lighting in a bottle of the white base without the context that informed it. "They had orphans? We have orphans! They had Bright? We have Bright!"

It was never about the ideology for her. She fought purely for the thrills. So when Patimus promises what Char refused to of course she turned heels to become a tradwife
November 5, 2025 at 11:54 PM
She became her own contradiction. On one hand, there's Reccoa the Soldier: she is fiercely independent, a fighter who breaks boundaries. On the other, Reccoa the "Woman": who believes women are to be submissive and be cared for by men. When Scirocco offers her the chance to do both she agrees

Yup... true autistic experience. The moment of "okay i have autism that means I have these things... wait... thats also a trait?... fuck, I do that though. And thats also a trait? Not everyone does that??? WTF"

On a sidenote, Claire as Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka somehow fits so nicely on a character level. It's the jovial, wry trickster figure that just works. Especially with thrown controllers and what not, that level of play and "fucking with your audience".

the fit is killing it (it being the children who fell victim to OSHA violations)

Nope. No signs at all. Just ignore the massive document I needed to start writing to keep track of memories and dates that I have dubbed "the egg log"

Phoenix Extravigant by Yoon Ha Lee (an Eastern inspired fantasy story with an Enby protagonist dissecting art, Collonialism, war, living under occupation and the compromises you make in order to live sometimes)

Hell followed with us by Andrew Joseph White (a trans post apocalypse body horror about christianity, the christian ideal of the rapture and the horror of slowly turning into a biblical angel)

Dreadnought by April Daniels (a trans girl is basically given the powers of superman after he dies)
