I hear ya, I don't usually watch TV, but I'm not going to go online on Oscar or Grammy night and talk about all the reading I'm doing. I will just let people enjoy the show. But I'm one to not cause conflict when it's unnecessary. I just read Calling In by Loretta Ross. 🫶📚

I'm not criticizing you, I'm an avid reader. We were mutuals on Tik Tok I guess you don't remember me it's fine. It just seemed like a post to talk about not watching football on the one night when people who never watch it are because it's just a thing to do. 🤷‍♀️

What is the difference? Same amount of time spent. In one you get to enjoy it with everyone at the moment and you are online talking about how your not watching it. I think I'm missing the point. 🤔

Right, there are memoirs, academic Non fiction, books that are told in novel format but not memoir or biography. Poetry, novels in verse. I love Non fiction and I read every single type. I've even read self help without realizing it was until I entered it on Storygraph. So many choices!!

I love that! When your trying to learn something and you get better at it without realizing it. It's such a fun process to be able to learn for fun and at our own pace.

It's too new for interlibrary loan. My Library won't borrow New books from other libraries, which makes sense. 🫶

I've read the last two on the bottom row and loved them both. I'm going to try to get my hands on a copy on Model Home. Maybe my Library will acquire a copy. 😊

I'm trying to read famous pieces of literature from all over the world that were also made into movies. And I love it when people are like why don't you just watch the movie? Umm really defeats If you were baking a cake I wouldn't walk up to you and say why don't you just buy one. 🙄
