Trump is a narcissist with dementia.
As for the elected GOP, the best of them have made a political calculation that opposing Trump on anything may lose them their seat and/or get them shot. The worst are toadies and fascists.
I assume you know this, but sometimes it's worth being Capt. Obvious.

1) bacon grease is delicious and should absolutely be used, assuming it is acceptable to the dietary needs of the people eating.
2) ...please don't pour bacon grease down your drain. Especially if you life anywhere that ever gets near freezing.

It is also notable its getting more popular to use, with Alberta & Saskatchewan using it to steamroll trans kids, Alberta using it to end a strike (and Ontario almost doing that a few years back), and Quebec using it to be Islamophobic.
And that's bad.
