How about launching a meme coin to fund my lab fully with anonymous donors? Is that cool?

I wasn't sure what you meant until I got to this part:

This article is some of the worst "both sides" trash I
have ever seen. It's written to hide the ball from the reader - just have a look at this graph. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...

C’mon bro. It’s not exactly subtle. It doesn’t even require a rudimentary grasp of irony, just 4th grade level reading comprehension.

The year is 2042. Just as I am sitting down in my easy chair, all of my grandchildren rush to my side. They are all sitting before me looking up with dewy-eyes, their chins resting on their fists, and they ask me: "Grandpa, tell us what dignity was like."

Both of us kicking ideas back and forth. We both really wanted Bob to be a victim of hubris.
November 17, 2024 at 12:58 PM
You would be surprised how many of Bob’s tweets were just transcriptions of things we heard or actual events. I almost fell out of my chair when I read a paper that unironically used the equivalent of Bob’s marble burying HMM.

Steve Albini was a man of towering integrity, a personal hero, legendary curmudgeon, and one of the coolest MF'ers ever. His influence on rock music and the culture of the industry is incalculable. He is irreplaceble.

Yes deep cut! I assume you are referring to one of my favorite bits on the blog: this smug tip regarding Bob’s first R01 entitled “Several projections to the visual claustrum of cats”

Magic 8 ball, will I actually get my summary statement before the inevitable government shut down?
November 10, 2023 at 3:25 PM
Thank you. A lot to unpack there, but the main reason we stopped is because Twitter is over. Also we started the account nearly 10 years ago.

ICYMI for neuro Twitter expats, a long standing mystery is solved.
