New EV excise duty introduced to offset electric cars not paying fuel duty.
EV car grant extended until 2030.
£200m to go towards EV charging infrastructure.

(Regulated) rail fares frozen until March 2027.
£3 bus fare cap extended again.
Fuel duty frozen until September 2026 BUT will have the 5p cut reversed after that in a staggered approach. Then from April 2027 it will be uprated annually in line with inflation.

The initial order is for 9 trains, but apparently there is an option to increase this number in the future if their applications to run additional services (e.g. Cleethorpes) are granted.
