RE the Anno loading screens shituation, I think it's actually insane for a franchise that has had a rep for such high quality genre artwork to fuck this up.
Literally just the other day I searched for an old 1404 loading screen to use as ref.

My daughter was poorly with a stomach bug last night, and Cush stayed by our sides, purring loudly and checking in, until she had stopped being sick.

A fun fact about Cushion - he was called Indie when we adopted him, but a month or so after him coming to us I came downstairs and saw him on the sofa and said 'Cushion' and that was it from then on :)
