Hand-painted this dice tower from the recent Axolote Gaming kickstarter.

Kept it classic vampire gothic. Dark and foreboding with a splash of blood red, and subtle accents of greens and browns. I freaking love it!

The different elements on the ‘Fighter’ can holder mugs make them such a fun thing to hand paint.

I used four metal styles: brass and dark steel for the body, lead/pewter on the shield and handle filigree, and blue steel rings. 💖

The box is a short, stocky earthenware type of pot with 5 small metal steel vials with cork tops held to the pot by a leather belt. Each vial is in an individual leather pocket. The box lid has a frog popping its head out of the top. We can only see the back in this photo. The mug is handpainted to look like brown earthen ware in a vaguely hourglass shape. We’ve got potions and elixirs aplenty, we’ve got shapes and sizes galore.

The larger bottles open to use to store things in, some are charms, some are mini potions for use in game, and all are great for larping and cosplay.

i suppose quick is a matter of perspective LOL I don’t have a lot of patience to begin with when it comes to waiting for things to dry. This is the one I have, and it’s nowhere near as fast as just plain old paint drying. What kind do you use? Always on the lookout for new things to try.

great question! i’ve fixed my video link here vm.tiktok.com/ZMkgVdg7V/. This acts as a sort of filler base coat that also adds the texture of dust/sand/dirt/earth rather than just flat paint. This enabled me to not have to use a putty or paste to give a more natural earth texture.

I’ve been working on graphics for a handout for my free paint and take sessions this week. Workshops are geared for ages 12+ but are all ages family friendly. It’s pretty informal with brief instruction and mostly workshopping the actual painting. Registration is already half full! 😁 Happy Friday!!
