Last week, I told a friend of mine that I hoped the results of the election would be a wake up call to politicians on both sides of the aisle—that the not-fully-MAGA Rs & centrist Ds would realize the people are sick of the status quo & demand change.

My husband was watching “Idiocracy” again. I used to laugh at that movie; now it just hurts.
That scene with the cabinet members hit extra hard. By the time it got to the SCOTUS, he was elsewhere, & I had to hit stop. No amount of willful distractions on my end was helping my grief.
