That's why we abandoned the idea of black paper/white ink on the endpapers in BCG. They have a rules cheat sheet and after talking it through with our printer it would be too much hassle (and money) to do it *right*, so we just went with the standard paper and black ink.

I run it not as a simulation but as an extension of the players interests and a source of potential scores. Using these two you could: Help/interfere with Billhooks kidnapping of a magistrate) or aid/steal new equipment form the Bluecoats - this would be a straight change in their respective clocks.
