To me, amidst my despair and disappointment at America, the single redeeming factor is the ability to imagine America as its best self. That idea of equality has created millions of us who DO believe in that best self, and it will sustain us as we continue to fight against fascism.

I’m a little deflated- the RFK nomination is absolutely terrifying- but the first thing he wants to go after is excessively processed sugar filled cereal… which I’ve got to say, seems like a good idea to me. What’s happening to me?
