I have this same issue sometimes.
Honestly I find my work is lackluster when I'm exhausted and pushing it just leads to faster burnout, so it's just easier to accept it and rest so you have more energy later to do better work.

Messengers are designed for getting back to later when you're busy. If people get upset because you didn't get back to them immediately, then that's their problem, not yours. You shouldn't be at everyone's back and call 24/7. That's not healthy.
