You know the thing I didn't expect with ADHD meds was suddenly wanting to speak to friends again. I've spent so many years in shut down. suddenly I just need to feel a sense of connection. I guess I always have, but it was fuzzed over by all the noise of ADHD.

It's a very strange feeling taking ADHD meds and that making me get up and actually want to do stuff and engage in the world

i got an iPad Air in march it’s been my fav new tech I’ve got for years. it made me love the format in a way in a way i suspect an android tablet couldn’t. the single thing I’ve not been able to use it for is playing games on and I’d really like to find some games that i could play regularly on it

ok seen first two episodes of Pluribus now. pretty amazing stuff. everything is given the space to breath, there's a sense of horror at first that slides into numbness, seen through the central character carol. you ping pong between absurdity and dread.

so for the first time in decades im trying a different video player than VLC, called MPV. notably and i think what prompted me to try is that VLC doesn't update mainline ever and it still has the same dogshit old decoders and modern video files perform really bad mpv.io

It's funny, if I didn't know what arc raiders was, I'd swear the main aim of the game was to avoid as much PvP as possible based on how much people grumble about it

Just watched predator badlands. Not the film I was expecting and was super goofy (positive). Actually glad it went in the direction it did, though I suspect it's gonna make a few sweaty predator fans angry. All I'll say is it's rated 12A.
