So tricky to snap a photo with my phone in time, but when I do get even a distant one it feels like a win. From the last couple of months volunteering or a walk, I believe they're a Six-spot burnet moth, a Brown argus, a Gatekeeper, a Common Blue.

Been really enjoying volunteering with the national trust at Devil's Dyke, views like a postcard each time, and our last session we were learning about the fairground and cable car built there during the Victorian era. Had no idea!

It's silly and daft, and she has no idea what's going on besides people make a fuss of her, but happy birthday Poppy! 7 now, a birthday walk yesterday, visiting her favourite place today (the pet shop) and a bit of special cake to finish.
