My cat has his ear clipped the same way. They told us when we adopted him thats what they do with city stray city cats when they've done the catch and release spay and neuter so that they know they did that cat already. Maybe farmers do the same thing?

We really have no idea if this is a good or bad idea until we know what else happens over the next 3 months but we all have to have opinions right now. FWIW, I have to assume that this means our lineup is going to look a lot different by opening day

I was there the night he made that catch against the Dodgers and I was happy that he resigned but I’m not too sad to lose him. I wish him the best in Texas and I hope the warmer weather is kind on his foot

I may be a complete idiot but this is the first thing that came to mind. David Stearns almost certainly has not given this a single thought though. Just one more reason why he and I are not the same
