@glynhudson.bsky.social hi! Is there any other way to update the OVMS3 unit with a 4G modem? The board is out of stock on your shop. O2 are now not allowing traffic for Hologram and they themselves are having issues with this.

There’s much merit to this idea given the creation of the auxiliary beat role that is a PCSO (which was in part done to reduce costs). I hope if it meets the petition debate criteria, our MP @drlukeevans.org.uk would like to participate in that debate. www.leics.police.uk/news/leicest...

Welsh dark night skies are so much better and more alike to what I remember them to be before too much light pollution came along. Orion, Jupiter, Aldebaran and Pleiades. Classic Winter sky. 🌌

Well #Meta is on the fritz. Anyone remember this doozy from 2021 where a bad change prevented routing to their own DNS servers and they had to get into their data centres in person to fix it? www.theregister.com/AMP/2021/10/...

The #sonos S2 app and architecture has gone from bad to worse on my old Play:3 speaker. Looking on here and Reddit, I’m not alone. However there is an easy downgrade route to the old S1 platform. Once done, things become slick and fast. Just don’t mention the likelihood that it restores SMBv1 too 😅

Life extension for the UK’s dwindling number of aged nuclear power stations. Can SMRs (small modular reactors) replace them without consequences above that of their larger brothers? There certainly seems to be an ongoing capability gap.

I hope Dave Gorman has dropped Gregg Wallace from his act now. I don’t like GW and I’m not surprised about this news. Much of Gorman’s recent show was based around GW. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Gregg Wallace steps aside from Masterchef as host as allegations are investigated
It comes after BBC News sent a letter outlining allegations by 13 people, including Kirsty Wark, that Wallace made inappropriate sexual comments.

Well that’s good news. 1 metre restriction removed and a big uplift in BUS.

“Energy bosses have welcomed a move by the government to ease planning rules on heat pump installations, as well as a decision to nearly double the annual budget for its Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).”

There’s no real #detailing content on here! I tried Feynlab rinseless for the first time today. Usual snow foam phase with Bilt Hamber Touch-less, then a small dash of Feynlab in the soap bucket, followed wipe off with a drying towel. Really quick and easy. Good results, our cars were filthy before.

What I think this doesn’t protect against is scraping the open content of this site by third-parties for training of their own AI models. Therefore don’t assume a level of out and out safety here beyond that found elsewhere?

Great to see this isn’t a SUV design. The width of the battery will still make it taller though. A big enough nose to house a V12 back in the day? ;-)

Bluetongue has crept further west now hitting this part of the Leicestershire-Warwickshire border. Now most of eastern England appears to be under movement controls meaning no ruminant animals can go to slaughter. Christmas is going to be bad this year for farming. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
