Well that's Eurovision fucked, I don't think the contest will recover from this.

You know something's gone catastrophically wrong with an update when they roll you back to a version from the summer.

Love this shot from yesterday morning. The sun giving the chap a perfect rim light, the foggy bus windows anonymizing the passengers, just a perfect little moment.

Shot on iPhone.

It's so depressingly ironic that the color of the year is white. :/
Pantone’s 2026 Color of the Year is a white
In Pantone language, that’s code 11-4201—aka Cloud Dancer.

This is really important.

What I make, is made my me - a human being, and I take a really dim view of 'generative' AI,

I'm not a luddite, there are definitely machine learning tools that make life much easier - but wholesale generative slop? Prompting a machine to think for you, no thank you.

Can we talk for a moment about how flat color grading and dead flat lighting is destroying a lot of modern films.

I really would love to get back to LA soon as I’d love to be able to work more on some of the stuff I was doing pre-COVID there. I got so many photos and notes for the coffee table book.

Ah yes a 4 hour call with the principal engineer troubleshooting was *exactly* what I planned for monday morning.

Still I think we made some progress - good to have seasoned technical eyes on the problem.

Quite possibly my 'first' YouTube video - found myself aged, maybe 3 ish at the Gütersloh Tiger Air Meet.

The American customer ‘Ferrari’s’ are both ahead of the works Ferrari, there is something fundamentally wrong with this years Ferrari. It’s a dog of a car, and the management taking aim at the drivers for speaking their minds is symptomatic of everything wrong at the red team….

Good god take this capitalist nonsense out of the diary. It's not an official day, it's just a reminder that some billionaire wants a bit more of your hard earned coin.

This is beautiful.
Good morning. One from a shoot in Feb of 2021. Unique opportunity to photograph the McLaren GT in a practically empty Kyoto. This shot, for me, sums up the wide scenes that excited me about the car photography I grew up with in the 1970s. But that now, cos of Instagram, is rare to see.

I'd really love there to be some hashtags for #Photographers and #Filmmakers that aren't challenges, that are just a bunch of like minded folks who'll be excited about what their friends post and who'll hype each other up to make better stuff.

No topics, no challenges, just collaborative fun.
