Interesting! The owner of the plane and airport, Wilfred Berube, wanted to prove there was no mechanical failure, and had the Mass Aero Commission going to bat for him. The autopsy never happened, but they beat the lawsuit anyway.

He was apparently transporting a bunch of teen boys to a camping trip on Monomoy Island but had to make multiple trips to bring them all. The kid who was injured was the last. He was in a coma, but survived and lived until last year!

Still piecing it together, but he was considered too experienced to have crashed like that by accident, so it was either a problem with the plane or he died/passed out while in flight. The owner of the plane was trying to prove the latter, I think, to protect himself legally

Sora 2 is also unbelievably expensive, costing OpenAI at least $5 per 10 second video - and likely more considering Sora 2 also generates synced-up audio. OpenAI loses one subscriber's revenue *every four images generated*. It's unbelievably stupid.
