The star of the show must be this shiny new Maleoon 920 GPU. The AnTuTu GPU score is 60% higher than 910. 😋

This is not the big jump that I heard from some Huawei fans lol 😅 Expect improvements in process refinement and system optimizations.

One more thing: 8 Elite QRD with LPDDR5X-10667 memory is a one-off thing. There has been zero validated 10667 chips for 8 Elite, and the kernel source also confirmed maximum memory support is 4761 MHz (≈ 9600MT/s).

On OnePlus 12 Android 15 kernel source:
volcano6 0x280
(volcano is known to be Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and one Snapdragon 6 series chip with model SM6650. This seems to be SM6650)
anorak 0x225 (looks like an XR chip. No GPU device tree for now)

To sum up my point,
不要动不动就说8Elite翻车了,那看谁家的8Elite

some 8 Gen 3 devices.
I'm not saying that the 8 Elite is "a fire dragon", in fact a lot of phones with good tuning have great performance. But just one phone with bad tuning will shift the view of people about the chipset. Xiaomi 15 is a popular one, in fact.

Qualcomm's official Snapdragon 8 Elite numbers.
The Speedometer ones are crazy! That is the power of custom ARM cores!

Qualcomm announces the 2nd generation Oryon CPU, which is used in the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
It's not a new architecture, but a refinement over the Oryon cores used in the SD X Elite. This is evident in the identifiers of these new cores: Oryon-1 r3p4 (P-cores) and r4p4 (E-cores).
