This study has a strange conclusion. I'm confused when they say the only negative impact of SO2 is acid rain, and that it is not a problem for India. They go as far as saying sulfur emissions should persist because they cool the planet. Isn't SO2 a harmful pollutant?

That angler fish went through the full cycle— first dragged for its smol size and then turned it into a heartwarming story of reaching for light even with your last breath!

Anyone knows what happened to @copernicusecmwf.bsky.social's Global Temperature Trend Monitor page that showed how close we are to hitting 1.5°C, like the image below? Those visuals were super useful and can't seem to find that page now. Is there any similar alternative?

I checked and Twitter has over 300 million active users but this is a cool milestone for BlueSky, it has good potential to replace Twitter and I hope it does!

I hate air conditioned spaces, hated air conditioned cities like Hong Kong and Macao even more. But I don't see how these tropics or hot countries like India can deal with heat and humidity otherwise. That's just the climate, not even climate change.

The amount of harm this woman is willingly doing to promote her book with unfounded and dangerous claims is mind boggling. I can't wait for everyone to forget this book exists but techno optimists won't ever let this one go!

Oh my god. Losing my mind, this explains everything that is wrong with how economics dealt with climate change, without ever consulting an actual climate scientists.

TIL it is way faster and much more effective to write directly to university departments asking for suggestions for expert sources instead of spending hours trawling terrible Google searches or asking ChatGPT to improve its results till it throws its hands up in the air in frustration!
