It's been hard to believe, but I've encountered a few people like that as well. Including an online therapist based in the UK I spoke with a couple weeks after Oct 7th while trying to deal with the trauma. Some people are in their own world and don't look much beyond it.

Prevention - if it works, nothing happens. Hard for some to understand things they can't see.

They should be able to. That some of the public health agencies are no longer trustworthy is a travesty.
