The Giants have spent more draft capital on offensive line than any other team in the league. It's not for a lack of emphasis. It's scouting and coaching. They whiffed on so many offensive line draft picks.

Considering the giants needs at the time, it was the right move. Tagging Jones would have resulted in a higher cap hit. You also have to consider that Saquon was often injured and not nearly as effective as he has been this year. Keeping him kept them from drafting a franchise QB. Full tank mode now

Actually, the Giants offered Saquan a very similar contract to what he got in Philadelphia and he turned it down because he wanted CMC money. giantswire.usatoday.com/2023/05/13/s...
