AI is really really good at creating really really ugly pictures. None of that here (and no photoshop either).

There is truth in real photographs, which is why AI is out to destroy real photography.

For those who want the real numbers: lacking a proper BLS jobs report the best report is the ADP one, based on the actual payroll numbers for the thousands of companies they process. It's... Not good.

For those who are curious, without a proper Fed report the best we can do is the monthly ADP report. It's bad, down 32,000 jobs.

(ADP processes the payroll for thousands of companies, then extrapolates to the general economy from there.)

In New York it was played as camp, NY style. Not exactly comedy but definitely not dead serious. Camp in New York is very different from Camp in London and is not well understood. Remember "Bat Boy"? Major hit in NY that ran for years but died in days on the West End.

Played on Broadway for years and made Frank Langella and Raul Julia stars (at least in New York)

The Wall Street term for this is "He swings a big dick". Which is meant as a compliment.

I can't count how many corporate meetings I've been in where this was the norm (in 30 years in banking)

What does this image tell you? It tells you MAGA followers are NOT buying Treasury bonds, or why would it exist?

A few years ago I found my reading rate slowing down. After a while I realized it was my failing eyesight. Switched to audiobooks and instantly waslq back to a book a week. Only wish the range of to available audio books was wider

Weirdly enough, Mister Magoo's Christmas Carol was really not bad. (Yes there really was such a thing)

A lot of that has to do with the end of the SALT deductions and the cap on mortgage deductions. Essentially the government used to subsidize first time home ownership, and not by a small amount.

You have it backwards. The remake was extremely faithful to the original, not the early version, which completely dropped the paranoia and turned it into a standard monster movie. note however that the original was notable for one of the first uses of overlapping dialog in cinema

My take is she realizes that if she wants a post-Trump career in politics she has to turn on him, now. And my guess is she will not be the last to do so.
