If it is like CoD warzone, that should be fine. I just hope the core conquest-type match experience doesn't suffer too much from diverted development resources

I really hope you aren't right about this. F2P battlefield would be a death knell if it is not a smash success, and even then, F2P monetization and game structure will likely make the core fan base unhappy
