I really love Guillermo del Toro's work and this is a great adaptation of one of my favorite classic novels. Isaac and Goth are good but Elordi is excellent as the Monster.

I finally got around to watching this. Florence Pugh carries the movie, from first frame to last. David Harbour has some fun. Some of the ways they dealt with the themes of trauma and PTSD are a bit heavy-handed, but effective.
