When you’re going out of your way to avoid the news cycle to protect your peace and you accidentally swipe right on your iPhone and this appears. Lawd.

(“The job market is hell” made me laugh though, not gonna lie 😩)

Like, look at the material— she is objectively stunning 😮‍💨

Not sure if Prof @karenattiah.bsky.social is a Love Island fan, but seeing the trolls saying Olandria’s ugly/Nic can’t be attracted to her, etc. got me thinking about last week’s class. The media machine really is built on racism bc what in the white gaze hell are you ppl talking about? This woman?!

If the Gilded Age peaked your interest in Sargent then you saw *that* painting unveiled, go see “Sargent and Paris” at the MET if you have the opportunity! These are a few of my stand-outs (tell me the man in red isn’t time-travelling Aaron Taylor Johnson)

He really is, one of my favourite looks at the MET’s Superfine exhibition was this Air Afrique inspired suit he designed

Rachel Zegler is an icon and she is the moment. Evita was phenomenal—and that ensemble cast!

And the losers who complained about her singing Don’t Cry For Me on the outdoor balcony for people on the street? Just say you’re a theatre elitist. It was a fresh take on the spectacle of populism.

London, great to see you again after 10 years 🇬🇧

My chosen method of bitchslapping jet lag is to hang out with art. Victoria Miro Gallery has some heavy hitters up in their “40 Years” exhibition. And that outdoor space 👌🏽 🍃

Between Cuomo, Trump and now Tory, I guess this is the vibe for the 2025 disgraced politician comeback tour 🙄

Was in NYC yesterday for a whirlwind work trip, and while it was a terrifying 32 degrees, I love that city so much. Spent some time with this Adrian Piper at the MET. The message is always relevant, but in this moment it felt particularly urgent and prophetic.

Love her! The Brooklyn Museum had an excellent Catlett show late last year. I was enamoured with these suspended ladies.

I saw this yesterday in the Morning newsletter and yelled. The $ and time that must have went into this trash

“Damon Winter photographed portraits of Trump’s cabinet. An accompanying essay by David French considers their devotion to the MAGA movement.”

B&W can’t mask the soul rot. We live in hell

I’ve had this book on my coffee table for years—Dandy Lion edited by Shantrelle P. Lewis. Beautiful, informative and interesting. This photo of the South African Sartists collective is one of my favourites.

Wanted to try my new watercolour pens and naturally, SINNERS has been top of mind.

Layered, genre-bending art, gorgeous and eerie. Ryan Coogler and Autumn Durald Arkapaw, the legends that you are 🩸🔥🩸

@toronto.ca please read this and amp up bylaw enforcement and messaging to Toronto dog owners.

Ending the article with “if nothing else, pick up your own dog shit” is a true mic drop

Nikola Tesla’s reaction to a psychic telling him that in the future a profoundly dorky racist billionaire who pretends to be an inventor orchestrates a coup of the US government & uses his name for an electric car company & releases a vehicle so offensive that people throw squares of cheese at them

Every time I rewatch an episode of #Severance I pick up on new, amazingly strange little details. Like the plastic reliefs depicting the culty Kier death ritual in the goat sacrifice room.

And of course Emile is the perfect muse ✍🏽😍
