In the end, it turned into a story where an almighty entity as Lucifer gets bored from his life as the "God" of his own kingdom, and starts spying a guy who's life starts falling apart after killing his brother. Then Lu' had and idea.
Why not get the mascot to play cat and mouse for him?

Then i started expanding on it.
What if the Mascot was just as sentient as the protagonist?
What if the protagonist had a REAL backstory and personality?
What if Hell was run in a totalitarian-like hierarchy?
What if i made the characters represent both sides of the same coin?

Thanks! I try to make my designs convay the storytelling as best as they can.
KCS has this funny backstory when it was an attempt at a parody of Mascot Horror games mixed with my discontempt at Hazbin/Helluva's lackluster consistency.
Then it turned into a survival horror character-diven thriller.

Kosmo is very unique in regards to his Demon design, because he's not exactly the one inside the astronaut suit. His conciousness is in the alien-like creature who pilots the remains, making it "not his own body anymore"

YES IT IS!! Levi was envious of Lu's succes with that stunt he pulled (AKA Kafen and Jeff's purgatory) and the praise he got from Beelz and Satán who soon followed his steps.

It's also why Kafen and Kosmo are both cyclop-like characters, he WANTED them to look alike
