🚨 The Government has published its new hourly funding rates for the funded early education and childcare entitlements for 2026-27 in England. All three rates will increase at a higher rate than the National Living Wage rise.

NDNA Scotland joined an ELC Ministerial Roundtable at the Scottish Parliament to raise key issues around sustainability, partnerships and workforce challenges.

The Minister and Councillor praised the sector’s value and welcomed further dialogue.

NDNA’s Purnima Tanuku CBE met with Helen Hayes MP Chair of Education Committee at Labour Party Conference. Purnima gave evidence at the last committee’s session. We will be submitting evidence to their Early Years Inquiry highlighting the challenges the sector is facing along with solutions.
